Owner and Director • 30+ Years in Groundworks
Mark
Mark has worked in the groundworks trade for more than 30 years. He started out tarmacing at a young age and built his skills steadily across several different groundwork companies before co-founding Pristine Groundworks with his son Ross.
On site, Mark is a highly skilled digger driver who knows every trick of the trade behind the controls. He can put his hand to every single aspect of ground construction, and he is particularly exacting about the hand-trowelled finish on resin bound driveways and bespoke patios.
Day to day, Mark makes sure every job is laid to perfection. Before finishing for the day, he always takes a step back to inspect every detail, going above and beyond to make sure the work exceeds expectations. For Mark, customer satisfaction comes first.
Personal touch: Mark is a true family man who likes walking his dogs on the weekend, and would work eight days a week if he could.

Ross
Ross has been working in the groundworks trade for roughly 14 years. Determined to learn the craft properly, he started out as a teenager going to site with his dad without pay, mastering every skill through hard graft and practical experience.
Ross coordinates all duties required to run the company day and night. During the day, he works on the tools alongside the team on site, operating machinery, planning jobs and ordering materials. In the evenings, he conducts site visits, measures up, drafts written quotes and manages invoicing.
Ross specialises in every type of groundworks required, backed by an immense breadth of trade knowledge. He listens closely to his customers, takes great pride in his craft, and ensures they are delighted with the finished result.
“Customer satisfaction is everything to us, and we like to work with our customers to make sure everything is exactly how they imagined it.”
Personal touch: “I have always really enjoyed working alongside my dad every single day for the last 15 years. We have the same work ethic and always will.” Away from site, Ross loves family holidays.
