Any shape or pattern can be laid into a resin patio or driveway. On this garden transformation, our team replaced uneven, cracked concrete slabs and a muddy lawn with a bright, contemporary outdoor living space.
Starting point
Before work began, the garden had old concrete slabs that had cracked and sunk over the years, with a lawn that turned to mud in wet weather. Getting from the house to the garden meant crossing uneven ground.
What we did
We excavated the old slabs and soft ground, then built a solid compacted sub base with planned falls so rain drains away from the house. On top, we laid the resin by hand.
- Centre blend: Scandinavian Marble, a UV stable silvery white aggregate
- Border: Manhattan charcoal, with a matching interlocking diamond inlay at the centre
- Base: full excavation and a compacted sub base with falls built in
- Steps: treated timber sleepers stepping down to a freshly prepared lawn
Finished result
Clean lines, a crisp charcoal frame and a striking centrepiece give the garden a modern feel, while the sleeper steps soften the transition down to the lawn. Like all our resin bound surfaces, it is backed by a written 10 year guarantee.
